Oakley, in white, to the right of the teacher, competed in Literature Bowl. His team came in 5th place. It was fun to watch, they even had buzzers. If you're as old as me, you may remember the show, "Head of the Class," an old sitcom about a bunch of smart kids that would wear matching sweaters and go to competitions, it was just like this one, except these kids wore t-shirts. At the Language Arts Fair, Daisy won 1st place for a book about horses that she wrote with a friend. Rosie's class won first place for the book they wrote about the holidays, Rosie wrote and illustrated the page about groundhog day. Saturday, April 26, 2008
