Happily Easter After

The kids ages, from left to right: 4, 6, 2mos., 8, & 10.
Girl cousins.

Easter morning sleepy-heads!

Easter goodies!

Egg coloring!
The shaky moon picture. The full moon was bright orangish -red and huge! It looked awesome, but I couldn't get a good shot with my camera. My husband laughs at my "shaky moon" pictures. I took at least 10 photos, but I couldn't find the right setting on my camera to capture the shot. I thought that my wiggly baby in my left arm was causing the shakiness, but my husband took her, and the photos were still blurry.

Prizes were won! Our boy won sidewalk chalk and our girl, in pink, won a sponge bob monopoly game.

Picking up the eggs.

The sad snag! As the kids took off across the lawn after the eggs, there was a freak accident. Our daughter's wire Easter basket handle hooked our son's cheek. She fish hooked him by accident. She yelled "OH NO, his cheek is stuck to my basket!" She felt awful & grabbed his basket and started filling it up with eggs. I gave him a drink of water from my water bottle and tried to make him feel better before all the eggs were gone. I had my camera out, all set to get a cute picture, but instead I caught the snag! Our little boy seems to attract these kinds of crazy accidents. I find a safe, fun activity for the kids and he finds the danger and bares the scars.
Meeting the Easter Bunny and hunting for eggs at the local nursing home. Our kids are in the blue, purple, & pink jackets. Their friend is in the denim jacket, we have no idea who the girl is with the bunny ears.

2 Months Old

At our baby's 2 month check-up she weighed 11lbs. 8 oz. and was 22 3/4 inches long. Not as heavy as I predicted thank goodness. She is in the 75% for weight & height.

All Dressed Up!

The girls couldn't wait until Easter to wear their new dresses to church. Granny Sue gives them a new dress each Easter. The boys & baby also got a nice Easter outfit, but I convinced them to wait until Easter Sunday to wear theirs.
She's growing up fast, but her hair bow is still almost as big as her head. At 6 weeks she weighed 10 lbs 10 oz. Today, St.Patrick's day, she is officially 2 months old! Her next check-up is on Wednesday and we are guessing that she might top 13lbs., we'll see.

MR. G.Q. loves to wear his Sunday best. He used to call his tie his "cool." He loves to pose with his cool on!

Napping with dad.

Tummy Time!

Eagle Pinata

She made this eagle pinata all by herself! She had a school assignment to create something that symbolizes America. She filled the pinata with candy and her 3rd grade class got to take a swing at it. Our daughter was happy that her swing broke the pinata. Dad helped her make the beak, but she did everything else.
