Hi Jen! My dad was stationed in Minot when I was little. I was 3 and have actual memories of the bitter cold of that place! I have heard the same about the locals, and that AF community is very tight up there, so I guess it wouldn't be like, totally terrible to go there...I just like having all four seasons!
