After 3 weeks of rain-outs, Oakley finally played his first game! Actually the first 2 games, a double-header. He won the first game and lost the second one.
Our creative cheerleader! {Now we know why soccer doesn't have cheerleaders.} Oakley was playing goalie and in the middle of the game he yelled at his sister to stop cheering. She continued to cheer, yelling, "GO Oakley!!" until the other kids on his team asked Oakley to make his sister to stop cheering. Oakley was embarrassed, but I was proud of Rosie for being so supportive. Rosie found the old warped card table in a junk pile near the soccer field, along with a couple of old wooden stakes.
