Monday night we spent some time working on our garden beds to get them ready for spring vegetable planting. My husband decided to give the compost barrel a spin because we have ignored it all winter and rotating it was long overdue. He quickly noticed something was wrong when he heard, "th-th-th-thump-thump-thump..." He stopped spinning and looked inside and found 4 small stray kittens. They are wild little buggers that hiss at us if we get too close. We told the kids not to touch them. 
The girls enjoyed looking at the kittens in the compost barrel.
Is anyone interested in taming one of these kitties? They are FREE to a good home!

I hope the kittens are weaned soon and they move on so I can get back to composting!
