Family Room & Basement Remodel

Those of you who are addicted to HGTV, like me, may enjoy looking at our remodeling photos. Below: Inside the larger basement bedroom, looking through the new window. This room has a wood stove and a large brick hearth. We plan to decorate it "log cabin/north woods/rustic/fisherman" style. Photo below is one of the basement bedrooms. We added the window. The closet is on the right in the photo. The drywall is blue because we used water resistant drywall on the exterior walls in case dampness seeps in.Below, new pine doors to the 2 new bedrooms in the basement. We are still working on the remodel, hence, the messy room. We decided to keep the paneling in the family room for now to save money, but the bedrooms will have drywall. We are trying to have a western theme in the family room with the denim couch and red accents, but the room is also a hodge-podge of furniture we already had. Below: Before photo of the couch and cedar chest.Below: Photo taken after I reupholstered the cedar chest. I am also going to make some red pillows for the couch to tie it all together better.
